Except 2007 wasn't her peak... If you compare her google trends from 2005-2007, there wasn't that much of a difference. Imagine if it had existed in 1999-2001. And I love Bey, but she is not. People didn't randomly forget Britney. Also, IASF was an unquestionably successful album, but lets not act like the era was a smash like 21 or TFM.

True, I would say overall Angelina is the media fixation of our generation. She is on every cover of every magazine just regularly.

Britney does come close though, but I feel like her peak is very overrated in media, she went bat **** insane, of course people are gonna stalk her for pics (she pays their rent). That is not true interest, that is exploit and advantage.

I do think Britney's media coverage pre-2005 was not as bad as some fans make it out to be, but it was definitely still there. Hardly free of controversy.

I will not forget the lashings she got from the Crossroads London premiere and the G.A.Y. club appearance (or lack thereof).
