They're only helping her with songwriting as far as I know. She's not an artist signed under Warner, which means this deal doesn't help her. Warner most likely gets royalties from her album and single sales, but she's under Sony primarily.

To follow up on this, Beyonce is NOT a Warner artist. She has only signed to their music publishing division, which basically makes sure artists get paid when their music is used commercially.

Warner/Chappell Music, Inc. is an American music publishing company, and a division of the Warner Music Group.

Isn't Madonna on that label as well? There also several artists like Blake Shelton, David Guetta, Hunter Hayes, Linkin Park, Michael Bublé. Moderate artists like B.o.B, Muse, T.I..

EDIT: Just checked their list, Madonna is not on it.

And yeah, Madonna used to be with Warner but she moved to Universal after Celebration.

This deal is actually more about Warner getting money when their artists' songs, a.k.a bruno mars, get played on the Radio. Bruno had huge hits in the past that received thousands & thousands of spins on different formats and they got nothing in return, so it's more empowerment to their artists which mean more money for king bruno.

Now Gorilla is basically about ****ing like gorillas, and if radio plays it then that's cool and again more money for bruno.

ASCAP has already been getting Bruno coins thru radio play because of his songwriting/producer credits. The Warner deal is just extra coins for him on songs where he also appears as the artist.
