OH, you were talking about actual
Amber update? 925 was sold with Amber pre-installed, you guys didn't need to update to it like the rest of us did. I heard you guys got a little mini update a few days ago for 4G, so I thought that was what was being talked about.
Yeah, it gives you glance screen (classic Nokia clock dancing on screen while on standby), peek screen (wave your hand over your phone to see time, and soon, notifications), FM radio, data sense [carrier dependant], an improved camera, access to the 1020's Nokia Pro Cam and Smart Cam, improved battery & improved performance overall. There was a few other things but I already forgot what they were, lol. I think I covered all the major bits.
Next update (GRD3 - called Bittersweet Shimmer) is supposed to come out next month (but I mean - prepare to wait until up to December lol), and it'll bring further ringtone/sms customizations, notifications on your standby screen, 1080p support, an "x" button to close apps faster via the multitasking view, screen rotation lock (about time) and probably some more small updates that haven't leaked out yet. There's apparently more coming. Sometimes you get a big update like this and then you have to wait for the app Store to actually update individual things - like peek/glance screen - to enjoy the update.
Then early next year (they're saying January... I'd say wait till March), Windows Phone 8.1 is coming and it's supposed to be a significant update to the system. Most importantly, a notification centre which some people are begging for (I personally do not care much for it, but okay).
