They'll all suddenly love the song if it smashes or hate it if it underperforms. That's how it ALWAYS goes.

I agree. We cant expect everything to be perfect. And some people meltdown for the most futile reasons. Her eyes are tired, her chest is weird, that's not her body etc . Just chill people, this is not the end of the world. 
But it's not like they army is falling apart because of the cover, ATRL will try to shade her whenever they can, I think we should expect this by now. There's nothing we can do.

I don't like parts of the cover but love it overall. I just, as many others, expressed my opinion in the Britney's base  It's not perfect but I like it.

It has nothing to do with SYG or being a Gaga stan. I went on BH and looked at the photo before I did anything else. Whenever I see a Britney picture, I get excited, I get chills, and I get all crazy and nervous [ie. the MV screen shot, the bikini pic] but this literally got NO reaction from me at all. I felt nothing. So I guess if I don't feel anything, then I must not think much of it.
But,alas,forget that. I like the hair length,her body is in shape, the make-up was good and the song is going to slay so don't take any of what I'm saying to heart or let it bring anyone down. 
Y'all know I'll be spending my coins on the Queen come Sep. 17. 
Does anyone have any edits of it, though? I really like the fan made versions of her single covers, but I haven't found any for this one aside from the one I got for my avi.

tbh i wanted something else as a cover..the whole cover seems some previous outtake .. but ok... i dont care that much ....

It IS a previous outtake. It's probably from ELLE Magazine shoot and is not reflective of the overall imagery for the era. They probably didn't do an album shoot just yet, so they got a pic from that shoot. Not so complicated.

You're overreacting. No one said it's the end of the world, nor did they turn away from Britney. People just express their feeling towards the cover. There's not a single opportunity for the whole bunch of different people with a different taste to feel and think the same way.

Well, that's fine, it does look like something from the Circus era, but I don't mind it much because I love the Circus MV. 
I personally like the cover, it may grow on me, but that thread was ridiculous, I can't believe people can act that stupid and annoying, Dear Lord.

So true. After we've gotten reports that the song is better than their faves' lead singles (which shouldn't be a surprise), notions of an expensive music video, etc. they seem to be really mad.

Exactly, just because people didn't like a cover doesn't mean they're dissatisfied in a large way or turning their back on Britney or not ready to support her.
