Toronto: Weinstein Acquires The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby
Harvey Weinstein has found a home for “The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: His-Hers,” starring Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy. The deal for the two-part film, which portrays a couple working through a rough patch in their relationship, was closed Wednesday following screenings at the Toronto Film Festival. The movie, which explores the relationship from the separate points of view of the couple, also stars William Hurt, Ciaran Hands and Viola Davis. The deal, brokered by WME Global, covers several international territories and is in the $3 million range.
Efffff you Harvey, you should rather set a release date for Blood Ties and Nightingale instead of going around and buying every movie with a second-rate actress there is.
