That's not being desperate what's wrong with promoting your music so people can listen and buy it. Its annoying when people call artists who are serious about their crap desperate.
Hmm i think it could be good that wrecking ball knocked katy off no.1 because she'll lose the no.1 exposure and potentially be selling less come monday than she would of otherwise. However at this rate Miley could still be no.1 and it will be even harder to pass than roar would have been.

No if any my favs did that i'd hope they have given up on it and saved the promo budget for something more effective nvm though
