I think this song is such a hit. Why hasn't it broken yet. It's getting radio adds and McKee has been working every avenue (press, online, tv, music channels, radio) for promo. The track is super radio friendly, the lyrics are memorable. Who would forget "I fell in love in a 7-11 parking lot." If the same song was sung by Katy Perry, it would be at the top of the charts with Roar.

She's definitely hustled through most promo-avenues, but not TV yet. Aside from GMA she's literally done nothing to promote the song on TV. The only thing this song needs to become a hit is just awareness that it exists.

Like, all she needs to do is perform the song on Ellen and it'd likely be Top 50 within the day. (I'm literally just holding out for an Ellen-promo-slot because I know that it'd be the absolute best place to promote the song for her.)

Huh? Thus far it's done amazingly on radio for a song that has literally no backing from the public. It's only recently started to stall because it's taken so long to catch on with listeners. As soon as the GP shows interest (which may very well be starting to happen considering it's up 25 spots on iTunes today) then radio will keep supporting it.

Really? I mean, the last few days in a row when I've checked on Kworb or whatever it's either been losing AI or barely gaining in spins, which usually is a sign that a song is peaking or has peaked. It's also only gained 63 spins in the last week and two adds on pop radio according to Mediabase. Seems bleak to me, but I'd love it if I were proven wrong.

Did it really move up 25 spots in one day alone with no promo, though? Did some huge radio station just decide to pick it up or something?

The song started strong on radio (maybe a little too strong) and got all the way to the Top 25 on Pop with very little support on iTunes. It's only natural that it's starting to stall, radio isn't just gonna play a song that nobody is buying. (That's what happened to "Glowing" by Nikki Williams, it went Top 20 on Pop radio, but never cracked the Top 100 on iTunes so it eventually just died off.) However, the difference with Bonnie is that the public is actually starting to show interest. The song has risen 25+ spots in a day with no promo or anything. It just may finally be starting to make a natural ascent as the GP discovers it. If this is the case, radio will gladly keep supporting it.
