I may be a bit delusional, but just because they were separated by 2 albums, doesn't make this any less of a feat. Rih achieved in the same or less time, what most girls don't even achieve with ONE era. I mean, Loud-Unapologetic is pretty much the same length as the Teenage Dream Era.

I kind of feel the same way. Katy sold what, 6 million albums during the Teenage Dream era? Rihanna sold close to TWELVE MILLION in the same span of time.

I think Rihanna's album sales are pretty impressive, I don't care what people say. They want to drag her for her yearly releases, but deep down we know they're just made because their fave COULD NEVER.

I know some of y'all are Katy fans too but not to be rude or anything i just don't see homegirl lasting long let alone 7 albums into her career. She doesn't push boundaries imo doesn't really bring anything new to the table. Her songs are good bops, but yeah. Thats why i hate when others try to put her and Rih in the same category of "singles artists" . Rih has had impact on the industry and gets significant recognition by her peers and elders. Katy doesn't.
