On top of that, he doesn't really seem to want fame. I've barely heard a peep out of him since the Grammys; all I remember is that when he was asked about whether he was writing new music, he gave some vague, noncommittal answer.
Still, even if he never has another hit (which is likely), he still managed to net Billboard's #1 Song of the Year and 3 Grammys (including Record of the Year), which is more than most artists can manage. I'm sure he's proud of the success that he has (and who wouldn't be?)
I'm just curious, though, Robyn, why don't you like Gotye?
Making Mirrors is a wonderful album.
