Omg at the UK album chart being "competitive". Some albums sell like 16,000 & hit #1. And this is the time of the year where sales are at a low where a #5 album is like 6-7k sales

Haha @ this blatant lie. It's quite evident September to December is the busiest few months in the music industry, obv since it's in the run up to Christmas. "Yours Truly" was released in a week of many new releases, with artists having much stronger fanbases than herself. It's not like she released an album in May which is in a sense a "dead" part of the year when not much is happening on the charts.
tha excuses are beginning to leak

Congrats Katy

But Diamonds, it begs to differ, almost a million now but released same day as the US.

Girl the UK album charts are dead year around nNNN
Like in the middle of October a #1 sold like 45k
Ariana would be lucky to scrape 10k in the UK

Album sales are terrible at the moment. Point blank. And it wasn't much of a strong week at all. The only reason there's many debuts is because sales are LOW.
I was so happy YT debuted top 10, don't get me wrong, but the ridiculous sales helped it so much.

What
Hardly anyone in the UK has MTV because it's a sky channel, the # of people watching it at 2am will be minimal

Tbf the only times MTV has passed 1m ratings is with Geordie Shore. Everything else on that channel is a flop

I'm curious to see which kind of boost Bruno, Justin and the other performers got since they are such a popular event in the UK The VMAs aren't promo outside the US and if they have an effect, it is minimal.
