Right. Justin Timberlake is at least a known name. Bruno Mars isn't. He's fairly new and I can understand that, but because of that doesn't mean he's relevant.

Obviously Bruno is a successful pop star but to act like he's above the female pop stars because he gets to perform at the Superbowl is a bit much (especially since The Black Eyed Peas just performed there 2 years ago or so).

All I'm saying is that if you see a Lady Gaga poster on some "straight man"s wall, you better start checking his web history for signs of the homosexual
But if you saw, like, a Janet, Rihanna, Katy, Old Britney poster, there's still some wiggle room.

I'm just saying that he's non-existent outside of iTunes.

He is successful in the music industry outside singles.
And since when being in a scandal or having media attention equivalent to having success in the music industry?
Have you even seen the SB acts outside of the past two years? Those are not the only type of acts that get booked on that Superbowl stage. What controversy did The Black Eyed Peas have? Right, none or nothing that people remember. They were picked because they were relevant at the moment and entertained the crowd.

All trolling aside, Katy could do the superbowl. She has the hits, she has the starpower, she could bring out Kanye, and she has mass appeal. Girls love to bop to her songs, and guys think she's really hot. Plus it seems like Prism will be another huge era for her, so the media attention will be there.

Drag them acting as if they are the reason the superbowl gets views and if people watched for Beyonce.
I think Rihanna could deliver, but it would take her months of rehearsing, special effect and like 10000 dancers. I think Gaga or her would be the best choice, and an indie act would be a terrible choice. Bruno is just meh to me, Justin T should of been chosen if they were looking for a guy.

Well, his Halftime show may produce an iconic moment. Who knows? It is unfair to compare him to other male superstars. He has only been out for like 2 years. He is just getting started.

Lady ForbesGa - 5 IFPI entries
Bey - 3 entries (includes Gaga song)
Katy - 2 entries
Rih - 2 entries (includes Eminem song)
Lord, if the gays outnumber the straights then I wonder why being gay is still an issue in so many countries

Katy is too smart to do the Superbowl. She knows better.

And unlike the female pop stars you guys are subliminally suggesting, Bruno has proven to be a good performer.
So, all these Rihanna and Britney stans/mentions (throughout this board) need to cease.

Compared to all the straight male acts and bands on IFPI, it's not exactly a win win for gays.
