The best example is Kagura's fight. Erza was struggling against an unsheathed sword, had all of her armors getting crushed one by one, but still managed to effortlessly block Kagura's released sword ?
The same sword that had been hyped for 100 chapters, that crushed one of the strongest summon and almost destroyed the city ?
Not only did Erza magically block the sword, she also ended up One Shooting Kagura 2 pages after the girl went full power.

Or when Laxus beat Jura, one of the strongest wizards in existence like it was nothing. I was through after that. And almost every time they beat an insanely strong enemy it's basically because the power of their friendship/guild bond. Like what?
But I used to Stan for FT. In fact the Laxus/Fighting Festival arc still gives me life every time I re-watch it.
I need the author to step his game up.
