Hot Adult Contemporary, they basically play pop hits aimed at an adult audience (not teen-pop/rap, etc.)

And Gaga is played there, Applause just entered the format Top 20. Especially during the Born This Way era they supported her singles really much.

They didn't really. TEOG was the most supported, followed by Yoü And I which rode a bit on the wave off its predecessor. They barely supported her ever.
