The emoting crap is ********. There really is nothing that you can say when someone delivers pitch perfect, technically on point vocal performances pretty much always -- that can't be argued at all -- so you have to retreat to the subjective things like tone and emoting.
It's always used to either tear down good technical singers -- Whitney got it, Mariah got it, Celine got it, now Bey gets it -- or boost up mofos that aren't good technical singers.
