Most people I know think Ke$ha looks dirty and is full of nothing but auto-tune.

I think her image is her biggest strike against her. The second is RCA not letting her release meaningful songs as singles.

I think maybe Katy has more vocal talent and more originality in her lyrics. She's not afraid to try different stuff and a lot of the music on Ke$ha's first album was similar. Plus, I think Katy was a hit before Ke$ha became discovered by the general public. Katy had "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot N Cold" both out in 2008, I believe. I don't know.... Plus, Katy didn't take a long break like Ke$ha did. Katy had hit after hit after hit. What I think it all boils down to, for me at least, is that Katy has more vocal talent. I love Ke$ha, but... She uses too much autotune and should just let her voice be because I think it would actually sound really nice.
