A cover can actually be really convincing [or really off-putting] when it comes to buying an album.
Personally speaking, if an album has a nice cover, I'd feel more inclined to buy a physical copy of it just so I can have it. And just knowing that I have it despite never using it pleases me.
Madge her wrinkles, arms and hands are more iconic than anything your fave has done, and you can't even deny that because Madonna's age has got more press attention than anything Gaga has ''accomplished'' in five years.

Red has sold like 2M copies outside of the US already. That's as much or more than Britney, Kesha, Madonna, Beyonce, and Rihanna sold with their last albums. Probably more than Gags will move outside of the US this era.
