Brinty was a product aimed at teen girls and gays - there was no ''potential'', as if she was some kind of artiste or future innovator.
Her fade as a tweenybopper popgirl and tabloid fodder was inevitable, and the only reason she's still any bit relevant AT ALL is because of her meltdown.
I think her ''Army'' do too much on Brinty's career. Look at where she was in 2005 - if she hadn't gone mental and hyped out a ''comeback'', she'd be doing EPs and theatres.

But it was always Britney this, Britney that, no one was above Britney (poor Xtina stans, always suffering). It's something you don't see these days. She was global.
At that time, I legit thought after the Britney album, she would start declining, but then she came with "In the Zone" and my faith in her was restored.
I think Britney had a lot of talent and most importantly, she used to put out bop after bop, she knew how to release good songs. I think maybe if her story was different, she could've shown more of her potential, but it's all lost now.
