I wouldn't say that I'm surprised per se, but it's definitely not what i expected so far, which is a good thing.

It's shaping up more or less how I expected.

I didn't think it was going to be solid "EDM" after what Zedd said, the rumours of Edith Piaf samples, Whitesnake guitarist etc. Even though she said it could all be played in a club, I felt it was unlikely she wouldn't have a token ballad and some mellow mid-tempos.

I thought it would be more obviously commercial and pop though. Perhaps the rest is.

I expected everything to be EDM
And it's just pop music.
I mean It's good, cause EDM is not that popular anymore
But we still have 7 unknown songs, and I think as they are ZEDD, Madeon and RedOne tracks we can expect EDM for sure
But I love what I heard so far

I'm pleasantly surprised by Artpops turnout so far. While I wanted EDM smashes, I'm not a huge fan of Zedd and I thought the album would be over-saturated with that sound. Love everything she's played so far.

I am however expecting the songs we haven't heard yet go a bit harder though. Even so, I personally believe this is the strongest writing Gaga has shown us in awhile. Even though, in typical Gaga fashion, some of the lyrics are kind of....uhmmm.

Why? out of everything we've heard so far, Sex Dreams is the obvious choice she should make. Wouldn't mind it being a new song though.

I thought it was about Luc at first but then I realised they must have broke up on good terms because she was promoting his book and **** last year.

Sex Dreams should be a duet with Madonna. They could be lesbian lovers in the video. It would be a bit reductive but it would create a lot of buzz
