I didn't bother listening to his speech because I was kinda turned off by the fact he had already gotten one
essentially for running a successful election campaign

Obama's people helped the NSA pass many secret laws through the FISA courts. And when asked to reveal the hearing results, the adminstration is still adamant about not even revealing the name of a single judge on the court.
Hmm...secret courts passing secret laws giving the govt the power to spy on its people.

Yes, but it's a civil war in Syria. When did we become policemen? And what about the intervention back when Syria had already murdered 100k of its own? Why now with just 1k?
