Quite honestly, Trouble is better than Mirrors, Locked Out of Heaven, Roar and Applause imo structurally and lyrically. It uses its production to make the lyrics more prominent, not overshadow it. Its production is very smart and award-worthy imo. Roar, Locked Out Of Heaven are just too basic. Not that the Grammys really care. They just nominate the hits and that's all.

In what world Trouble has a better production than LooH. Heaven has a very smart good production not just with live instruments being played in the song but also other parts that most people don't know about. The song is definitely worthy of Record of the year. The song is produced by some of the most respected producers right now, The Smeezingtons and the genius Mr. Mark Ronson.

Ari Levine, one of The Smeezingtons said that on 'Locked Out of Heaven' some part in the song are not even instruments. "On ‘Locked Out Of Heaven’ Bruno was like ‘we need a dep-dep-dep-dep’ sound,'" Ari Levine recalls. "I said, ‘Sing it into the microphone’ and then I chopped it up. It sounds like it’s a instrument, but it’s really his voice. We do that a lot."

Stay has a chance for 2014, right? I see "Radioactive" more as Record of the Year than Song of the Year
Is "Night Visions" able to be nominated on AOTY?

Why does Rihanna's label always submit her lead singles at the wrong time? Diamonds and WFL both should have racked up the noms.
Oh well Stay and Loveeeeee Song are pretty good Grammy songs. I know Loveeee Song wasn't a real single but I actually think it could be a surprise sucess in the R&B categories.
It's gonna be a packed year. This year had a lot of new up and coming Grammy friendly artists and veterans like JT and Daft Punk so it'll be interesting.
The rap categories and best new artist will be a mess I bet.

I see Same Love snatching a Grammy also.
Thrift Shop was a good song while it lasted.

Here's my boring ass predictions ^_^
*why yes I'm bored*
Album of the Year
Pioneer, The Band Perry (random Country nod, and to get some female on this list. Barely.)
Unorthodox Jukebox, Bruno Mars
Random Access Memory, Daft Punk
The 20/20 Experience, Justin Timberlake
Born Sinner, J Cole
good kid, m.A.A.d city, - Kendrick Lamar
Record of the Year:
"DONE." The Band Perry
"Get Lucky," Daft Punk ft. Pharrell
"Royals," Lorde
"Just Give Me A Reason," P!nk ft. Nate Russ
"Blurred Lines," Robin Thick ft. T.I. and Pharell (the Call Me Maybe nod?)
Song of the Year:
"Skyfall," Adele (Hey, Oscar win means she's getting some nods)
"When I Was Your Man," Bruno Mars
"Mirrors" - Justin Timberlake
"Just Give Me A Reason," P!nk feat. Fun
"Royals," Lorde
Best New Artist:
Imagine Dragons
Kendrick Lamar
Kacey Musgraves (no way is Florida Georgia Line getting in)
Lorde
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
Best Pop Solo Performance
"Skyfall," Adele
"Locked Out of Heaven" - Bruno Mars
"Mirrors" - Justin Timberlake
"Roar," Katy Perry
"Catch My Breath" - Kelly Clarkson
Best Pop Duo/Group Performance
"I Need Your Love," Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding
"Daylight," Maroon 5
"Just Give Me A Reason," P!nk feat. Fun
"Stay," Rihanna ft. Mikky Endo**
"Blurred Lines," Robin Thick ft. T.I. and Pharell*
Best Pop Album
Unorthodox Jukebox, Bruno Mars
Our Version of Events, Emeli Sande (I have no idea, honestly, if she's even eligible)
Paradise Valley John Mayer
The 20/20 Experience, Justin Timberlake
Blurred Lines, Robin Thicke (random-ass guess)
I was gonna do more by my brain locked up on possible Rock and Alternative locks, I have no idea how Country will go (besides more noms for Taylor Swift -_-), Dance should be the Daft Punk runaround but I suspect that Skrillex will still annoy us all and Rap is probably the hardest to sort this year.
I would also die if "Cruise" from Florida Georgia Line gets something in Country AND a rap/sung nod cuz of Nelly.
* note: My guess is this goes pop collabo cuz JT is going Rap/Sung along with Rihanna. Easier to maybe get a win for it here?
** note : this will go here and Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Song heads to Rap/Sung.

That's not their fault.
If Diamonds was only eligible for 2013 and WFl only eligible for 2012 due to release dates.

The Civil Wars will win AOTY. As surprises go it will rival the year when Oh Brother won the award. Bookmark me.

I think "Just Give Me a Reason" could honestly, without a doubt, win Record of the Year. I also am excited because I have suspicions that "Skyfall" by Adele will be nominated, being that it was released on October 5, 2012, so... luckily, it is in the correct range of time!! So excited for the 2014 Grammys! Can we please get Adele and P!nk both to perform there? I would literally die from happiness if that happened.

Bruno will definitely get record of the year. It's flawless and not following any trends. I can't see any other song winning that category except for him.
