If all of “Getaway” were as smooth and seductive as that single late scene, I’d have no complaints about the ridiculously contrived plot, or the uselessness of Gomez, who is such a doll-like figure that it’s as if Minnie Mouse were sitting next to Hawke spewing obscenities, supplying exposition and flipping off the bad guys. (We get it, Selena: After this and “Spring Breakers,” you’re no longer a Disney kid. So what?)
Besides being the least convincing carjacker in the history of movies, with her chipmunk cheeks and Disney Channel spunk, her presence in the movie is so clunky and perfunctory if the filmmakers were to give her a name it might as well be Expository Plot Device.

Meanwhile, the weekend's other new openers bombed hard. Getaway opened in ninth place with just $4.5 million ($5.6 million four-day), which is on par with Dark Castle Entertainment's Bullet to the Head. The movie never looked particularly good, had a light marketing effort, and received awful reviews, so this debut is about in line with expectations. It received an awful "C+" CinemaScore, and should disappear from theaters quickly.

It's the only way to save that single now tbh It's a great song but not single material. If he released a amazing video for it, maybe it could actually slay but I doubt, his last videos were very simple.
The fact that Lady Gaga's unreleased demos from back when she had less creative control are better than her lead singles now...EMBARRASSED to have stanned for her.
