December 3rd is a bad idea for the album release, imo.

They should really go for late November. Because she'd have more chances of hitting good numbers with the December boom... We know damn well she'll plummet in January/February.

At this point, Billboard's rumored "All Eyes On Me" sounds a lot better than BH.com's confirmed "Werk Bitch", both are ridiculous, tho.

She'll plummet during week 2 regardless of when it's released.

She'll still move decent amounts of copies up until a little past Christmas time... After that it'll be gone Top 200 by February...

If it's released in November, it would move more copies, I believe...

A 4Q release will, hopefully, grant her more copies sold than Femme Fatale

Generally her first month is good, "femme fatale" spent 5 weeks inside top 10 billboard 200

5 weeks inside top 10 during December would give nice sales

I think that December 3rd is a good date. The album will fall after its's second week, but sales are generally larger than in the spring, so thats good.

Hopefully she continues to promote it after december.

I have already accepted the fact she won't. Hope she'll surprise me, but with Vegas, I doubt she'll have time, or want, to spend her days without scheduled concerts promoting the album (considering Vegas starts early 2014, but I really have no idea about it)...

And "Circus" didn't have longevity but still was somehow decent, around 45 weeks inside Billboard 200 is almost a year charting, and more than 30 weeks charting in UK chart.

Every album falls after the second week. A 70%+ drop is the usual. Femme Fatale still did well second week, though. Sold over 70K, which is quite good! Spent 5 weeks in the Top 10, but after it left the Top 10, it didn't even stay in the Top 20, it literally just PLUMMETED over 10 spots outside of the Top 20.

How long did it stay in the Top 200? I remember it was nowhere like a few weeks after the release...

I agree completely. If she did a really strong AMAs performance right before a November 25th release, she could outsell One Direction or Beyoncé. 4 barely outsold Femme Fatale the first week with ten times the promo. Can you imagine if Britney promoted like that?

If Vegas starts tanking, she will begin promoting. And I'm sure they have quarterly performances. She needs to sell out two years of tickets and nobody does that without some major promo.
