Why is is that nobody is bringing up some of these claims against heterosexual couples, only homosexual couples, when heterosexuals do the EXACT same things?

Do all of their relationships work? No.
Do some of them work? Yes.
Do they have threesomes, open relationships, cheat, while married? Yes.

Its up to the people involved to make it work. The posts in here.

Neglecting the unfounded, biased, and arbitrary posts that plague ATRL whenever a real social issue/question is raised, I agree with a couple posters saying it really is a case-by-case scenario.

Statistics can be swayed in any manner to favor one result vs. another and marriage/reasoning for divorce is too wide to measure in my opinion (not that anyone posted actual data backing their opinion).

With DOMA being repealed I have a lot of gay friends rushing to get married but who knows what that will result in? All I can do is wish my peers and loved ones success and happiness and do me.

Statistically, gay men have more non monogamous relationships than straight couples.

Straight couples have more than lesbians. Men are just hornier, statistically speaking. Your mileage may vary.

And it's a scientific fact that someone else's open relationship isn't your business. Mind your own damn business.

Two people, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, etc., can have a faithful relationship, including marriage.

Completely ridiculous. It's not just gay men that can be promiscuous. It applies to any man or woman too, you know (gay or straight).

Any real committed relationship, like marriage, takes two people to work at it. My parents constantly fought when I was younger but they're much happier now because they worked through it. Same sex marriage isn't any different from any other relationship except for its legal implications.
