This era is starting off REALLY excellent for Katy and she is barely even promoting it. I was so concerned about how the first single off the album was gonna perform only because she has been off the scene for a long minute. PRISM is building up to be just as good as an era as TD was.

I know she's going in Europe at the beggining of October to promote the album but I want her to promote Roar like California Gulrs.It would slay the charts even more and I want to see her more!

I guess at this point in her career she doesn't really need to promote heavily like she used too. Anything with her name on it is a sign, sealed, delivered, certified hit

I get that she's bigger now than she was when CG came out but just a little more promotion would make Roar even more huge and her biggest hit yet( although it still might be).

I couldn't really see her getting any major boosts from doing performances at this point tbh, California Gurls level promo would just seem redundant. She'd be trying to sell the song to people who have already bought it and/or hear it hammered on radio 24/7 anyway.

she really doesn't need to promote Roar. It's slaying on its own and will hit #1 even without the video release. She doesn't need to perform it anywhere, although she has the iTunes festival. Other than that, why spend money? It's already going to be #1. Save the money for the album promotion, which isn't too far away. I'm sure the video, which will be the best video of the year, will make it surge even more. No discounts plz.

I noticed this too. It's fine now considering how hard Roar is smashing. My concern is the second single and the ones after. What if they aren't as well received. I hope she just doesn't sit back and not do promo and watch them flop. I wonder if she'll have any more televised performances before the AMAs in November. I can almost guarantee she'll be performing her second single there and have some nominations for Roar

Sales aren't where she's lacking, the song is selling incredibly well. I can't think of any cheap tactics to use for streaming though
