I don't care if she flops or not (though it's nice when she has a huge hit, of course), but that's dangerous logic if you want her to be successful. If you have a series of underperforming singles or albums, the size of your fan base will keep diminishing. This is especially true with Gaga since the pop world is so fickle.
Many of my other (previously successful) faves have decent first week sales from their remaining small fanbases, and then disappear off the charts soon after.
Right?
Just because she can't anymore doesn't make her above anyone. You don't have to be one or the other.
