Im not here for people trying to discredit Too $hort or Twista because you only listen to a certain genre, because they are black, or because they are not as huge as Jay-Z or Drake. They still have hits. They still have success. Stop being so judgmental and enjoy the queen.

Anyways I think this album already snatched BTW and it is coming for TF wig once we hear the final record.

This made me SO excited to hear the rest of the material.

I wish she only had one rapper on Jewels and Drugs, the parts she sings are actually really good and I like the hip hop esque production, but it's just too much rap (for me since I never listen to rap)

Jewels and Drugs is PERFECTION. Trap Queen of Pop. Everything is perfect and the rap colabs are insane.
Sex Dreams is definitely my favourite, ARTPOP and Swine probably round out my Top 4.

Thats because The Edge of Glory was the only true hit single from the Born This Way-era. I know a lot of people count Born This Way but I really don't because (a) it sold as well as it did because her hype was INSANE (b) it fell off hard for a reason. That song may have been #1 but it was not a big hit that year. That sounds non-sensical but its not.

a) i've listened to mainstream radio since *NSYNC

b) keep in mind that mainstream radio is limited to the area you're in a lot of times. perhaps they stan for R&B much more where you are. Miami is more in tune with the reggaeton radio anyway i'm not surprised i don't know who Too Short is.

c) rap and reggaeton around that time was one giant messy blur that folded in on itself, everything sounded the same to me. even if i did hear their songs, i'd assume they were whatever the main rapper was at the time. 2005-2007 were bleh years for me as far as music goes.
