I feel like the next album will have both pop and country but not intertwined like in Stronger. She already established a separate country audience to cater to and she did say she will still be putting out pop songs, including "dance" (whatever that will be).
But yes, this album is do or die. It's either going to be a complete cheese fest if the lyrics are basic or her opportunity to break the Break-Up Queen image and finally put different themes and smash at the same time. She's not a highly anticipated artist but people will definitely love the change once the music comes out.
