1999 albums, as I said before were very successful. DC albums from those days sold well over 15M.

Beyonce's never had the top selling female album of the year, Britney has.
Even her biggest selling album DIL was only 7th or 8th album of 2003.

That's the difference between their peaks. Britney dominated, while Beyonce was always outsold and overshadowed by somebody.

You don't get what I'm trying to say, do you? I was pointing out that Beyonce's total album sales has not outsold BOMT yet. Rihanna has since she's sold 29-30M albums already. I don't know Alicia's total album sales but I'm pretty sure it's more than BOMT.

Well, it seems slow and steady wins the race as one of them is still here. Mentally intact, industry respected and happily married.

The other is on her way to Vegas after her 4th high profile relationship crumbled and her children were once again forced to call another man "Daddy". The...third one now, right?
