Nope, Avantgarde-plause is different. The Billboard editor don't lie boo. Besides the electropop thing has had its glory days. Rihanna released an Adele-lite ballad that fitted today's current musical climate and still ended up with mediocre album sales. A glorified singles artist tbh.

A tour is promo. I'm sick of y'all acting like tours aren't promo.
A tour is promotion to people who have already purchased the album. Promotional appearances at awards shows, music videos, and talk shows played a huge part in the lack of continued success of the album. Album sales fell off after the Grammy's and her performance there. So I guess 'lack of effective promo' is a better choice of words.

Singles artist don't sell more albums than your fave, unless you're shading your fave then that's another story
