Exactly. Nobody thinks of Knee for being a good performer. Knee is only known for stripping on stage, prancing around with a snake around her neck, and kissing Madonna.
10 years from now, Miley's performance will still be remembered and she'll be just as "legendary" if she keepsthe attention whoring gimmick up .

The upfront pay is usually much bigger than the percent they make back from profit, though that can be big money too.

People have been comparing Miley to Brint for ages. I remember in like 06/07 hating Miley because I was a BIT of a Knee stan and I couldn't stand how famous Miley was getting by being a Jean ripoff.
