it was like a tidal wave one minute the song came out then SL the song and vid took over. Then IIWAB just slayed eternally. Also Sweet Dreams & Halo were massive and were played for a long ass time. The performances were also everythang that era was perfect (well except for videophone)

Honestly, I was around the same age but my older sisters stanned hard and I already knew about sweet dreams and I liked it but everybody was wondering how should could top B'day and she delivered. People compared IIWAB to Like a Boy by Ciara but it was a much bigger hit.

videophone was a very sexy video i don't care what anybody says. i was starting puberty when that song came out and that video was too much for me to handle at such a young age

yeah I remember the pressed gurls talking about ey copying Cici, but in the end IIWAB was the bigger and much better song. Who on top of that has aged better
