I'm so glad that we can agree.

Janet and Madonna are the yin and yang of the female popstar. I personally prefer Janet, but I don't diminish Madonna for what she's done for pop music either.

I love that people are using this thread again!!

Janet and Madonna's careers and discographies have many parallels, but the reason I prefer Janet is because she comes across as more relatable or human. Madonna is always out for a reaction but Janet just wants to explain where she's coming from.

Oh and my faves from Damita Jo are SloLove and Island Life.

Damita Jo has some bops on it. "Slolove," "Island Life," "Sexhibition" (arguably her best vocals on that album -- that bridge is FIRE), "R&B Junkie" and the title track are my faves. I also like the Just Blaze remix of "Just A Little While."

RWU was AMAZING live, but on camera it's so uneventful. I think that's because the live version online has no audience audio, so it's like you're watching some cheap rehearsal.
