Not Afraid did pretty well first week on iTunes for not being his normal first single type song. Now granted to go number 1 on the Hot 100 "Berzerk" will have to do about 200k better than Not Afraid did first week to go number 1 like "Not Afraid" did.
"Not Afraid" sold 380,000 digital copies in its first week. If Berzerk does that it won't go #1 on the Hot 100. "Berzerk" will easily be #1 on itunes. But how much better than 380k will it do and will it be enough to get #1 on the Hot 100 is the question. Katy didn't even get it with 545k. So im thinking "Berzerk" needs to do 600k to hit #1 on the Hot 100 opening week.
But there should be no question about it going to #1 on iTunes and being #1 Digital song. No question.
