Eh, I'm indifferent with her style of music. I'm hoping this record is more urban but I also don't want her to leave her roots completely. I still need another And Then We Kiss type song. The good thing about the first single is that it'll give us Gimme More vibes.

"And Then We Kiss" is ethereal pop, btw. I love the trance-y feel of it and would definitely be here for more songs like it.
I think he meant "Gimme More" as cleaned up instead of edited and with great ad-libs at the end.

How good the single does will depend on how much it connects with the public. That's the difference between Katy and Gaga's singles.

I'm expecting it to be more "Roar" than "Applause," seeing as it is supposed to be somewhat of a mid-tempo.

I remember all the fans that wanted her to go urban with this record. I can tell that the new single won't be urban, though, we'll be getting some sort of power ballad of sorts [which I'm all here for!]. I'm glad, though. I need her to have a GLOBAL sounding first single with universal appeal.
She can leave the urban jams for the album.
And I'm glad that one of those supposed ''insiders'' confirmed some dance songs. Britney Spears is a pop artist after all, and what's a Britney Spears album without some great dance tracks?!

I'm here for that. I need a fourth or fifth single at least with a really urban feel to it. It's one of the things she's missing as a single, but could utterly slay.
My dream, would be:
First Single: Mid-tempo/uptempo
Second Single: Dance track
Third Single: Power Ballad
Fourth Single: Pop track
Fifth Single: Urban banger
