I wonder if it was a matter of her team not wanting to risk mucking up that streak of hers. Hopefully not, because they did anyway.
Perhaps they thought it'd be a good idea to give the public a rest from K$ for a little while -- she is kind of polarizing for a pop diva, and maybe they felt she was at risk of being overexposed.
Either way, they were clearly in the wrong.
