Agreed @Yzma. Beyoncé, just like Angelina Jolie for acting, is more than just music now. She's way more famous for being "Beyoncé" than for her discography. People just love Beyoncé. That explains why she is the only female popstar whose albums always outsell her biggest single from the same era.
"We Can't Stop" sort of reminds me of "Nightclubbing": Some song about going to a party or a club & dancing and whatnot, yet the song itself is a lackluster thing that's more downtempo rather than an actual dance/club/fun song.
