Well, I didn't find anything about the "Blurred Lines" lyrics to be particularly heinous. The music video with the naked models I felt was a bit stupid.
But you have to understand that we are men. We will never completely understand women and their experiences since we are not them. If they find something offensive to women, I really don't think it's our job or place to confirm/deny or agree/disagree. Just like I wouldn't want a White person to tell me what is or what isn't racist toward people of color.
You know?
But where does it end though? Where does the line get drawn between something being sexist, and someone just being a *****? These are people's lives theyre playing with at the expense of some unneeded attention. Hypocrisy at its finest IMO.

I definitely acknowledge that and something should be said about the hypocrisy - but it would look/feel better coming from a woman's mouth, at least I think.

and as a black person...I can say Black ppl can get mad over even the smallest thing that really shouldn't...so I can understand if Big Smoke can feel the same about some feminists sometimes
People act really surprised when they find out I don't like Hip Hop.They think it's weird. I remember I didn't know who this rapper was and the people in my class thought i was lying. I know the big rappers but they was talking bout some random local rapper and they was so shocked that I didn't know who he was I'm like really has this happen to any of you ?

Yeah. I'm no big hip hop fan, I like a fair few of the newbies though, but no hardcore oldies tbh. I'm not a big rapper fan tbh.
Another thing I dont get about activists.
Why ask for an apology if youre not gonna accept it?
Why ask for rehabilitation, if your not gonna accept the rehabilitated?
It's stuff like this that has me unsympathetic IMO

I liked BTW better than TFM tbh. "Applause" is a good song.
This! BTW is her best album and I'm not here for people acting like TFM is better just because she was more popular back then and more accepted (to be a fan of). TFM and TF had great/amazing singles but had lots of fillers while BTW had terrible single choices but the album tracks are amazing, imo. I think Applause is a good song, not great but good enough. Although I feel like it isn't 1st single material.
