I think it's a good idea to release in Feb or March. Imagine if she performs at the Grammy, in NBA halftime, do the Superbowl. The sales will be insane. A major win in the Grammys will also help.

I will die if she scans 300k+ in the debut week.

Everything about Rihanna has now turned into uncertainty. We are waiting for everything: singles, videos, tour dates, tour gross, major announcement, a performance. Sad thing is we get nothing but tweets yet we're still waiting if anything will happen.

I hate it when she spoiled us in Sept-Feb but leave us hanging through the rest of the year. Arghh

You have a point but at the same time the music becomes less genuine if you don't have a personal connection to the lyrics of the song. Thats why when you go through things in life its easy to relate to certain songs.
- & as a fan i'll always support whatever she puts out whenever she puts it out. But ideally from a sales standpoint she would see more success if there was a longer break as opposed to her standard yearly releases.
