Rihanna can barely sell albums right now and she's apparently "on top of the world". And "fungus"? I swear Rihtard gave one of her fans herpes just a couple of months ago.
With acts like The Saturdays, Flo Rida, Pitbull etc, i don't really understand why they create albums. They will obviously tank and it would be more cost effective for labels to just promote a 6 song EP or sum'n.

So what does she need to do if she wants to make a comeback? It all begins and ends with the quality and positioning of the songs. Id say party/Club songs but more upbeat/positive. I'd also like to hear a ballad or two that can stand next to Beautiful. Songs about empowerment and overcoming adversity.
Then she needs to work. Endless promo. A run of small Club dates to reconnect and build buzz. Radio promo out the butt. That sort of thing.
I think the most important question at this point - for her or for anyone in her situation - is, does she really want it?
Yeah, what he said was spot on. Bc of her vocals, she has the ability to create a 21 style album and showcase that mature side to the general public who still believe she's that provocative, controversial sex siren. I know this season on The Voice, she's begun to take a more conservative approach i.e. blouses/dresses that cover her breasts and such.
Remember when their single was blocked from #1 by Flo Rida, and their subsequent single had Flo Rida as a feature, only for the public to say no ma'am again
