On the one hand I want it to be successful because it is a good song. It had a few 1.000+ radio updates in the US recently, but nothing spectacular.
On the other hand I want them to SMASH , and I know BSE isn't going to do that. So I want it to flop so they can get another single out in September/October.

Only if the next single is similar to "Can't Let Her Go"....otherwise I'm sick of them repeating them TMH/UAN formulas.
They need another hit or I expect BIG declines before era #4.

Mm. Not sure how I feel about it. It'd be okay if the timing of its release wasn't so awkward (too early to be a lead; and yet a little too close to get a great lead single follow-up).

Would be a disaster.
Even if it does well..... the SOONEST we are getting the album is late November, and that is too far away for BSE to really support the album at launch.

Well Rih is more of a single artist...we already know 1D is more album artist. Plus we can't really use her as comparison since she's been around for almost 10 years and 1D only have 2 albums out.
