She doesn't have to campaign anymore. She has no competition. None of her peers from the '70s, '80s and '90s are relevant/can compete for those, ahem, elder roles.
But she used to campaign. She campaigned for Kramer vs Kramer, Sophie's Choice, Out of Africa, The Bridges of Madison County and Evita (she lost to M b/c she was deemed too old
