I mean, I think she's referencing 'icons' of art, if that makes sense. Botticelli's Venus, Warhol's Marilyn, Pierrot's crying clown, the Hindu goddess Kali, I *think* The Scream by Munch, and others I haven't figured out yet.

But ultimately it's a straight-forward tribute to the visual arts: art (literal), theater, film, and magic.
