The photoshoot for the album + the "Burqa" demo are great, though.
This bitch needs to stop hyping **** when it comes out as mediocre. She acts as if the things she puts out are going to be groundbreaking and amazing, when they just end up boring and disappointing.
"Applause" was ****. "Not bad" at the most. The intro & instrumental in the verses comes off as clownish and stupid. The melody in the verses is boring and off-putting. The chorus isn't bad, but is far from her best. The song, overall, is boring.
The video was corny and had too many things going on at once. It was chaotic and tried to be amazing when it wasn't. I can't stand it.
The really sad thing is, she was SO sure that "Applause" was going to smash. She kept it as the lead single for over a year, and was positive it would slay the charts. But, no. It didn't, obviously.
Rush-releasing was a bad idea. Her having a meltdown over a song leaking that she had hyped when it wasn't even that good of a song in the first place was a mess.
I've been questioning her as an artist more and more...
I'm just sick of her ****. I love her, but she's done all of this ******** and I just... Ugh.
