Well, we are still waiting on Eminem to confirm if he's releasing in November/December.

Albums get boosts greater than that of Black Friday for December.
PF was released on BF week in 2010. It was still in the Top 10 in January, and selling 30-40K copies a week. Remember it went #1 by selling only 45K copies that week.
I got some teA, which led me to believe that the album might very well come this year.

Ugh noooooooooooooooooooooo. You're legit too so I don't like hearing this.
I mean, originally I wanted Nov/Dec 13 but then you all kept pushing the idea about 2014 so then I finally got around to thinking May/June 2014 was appropriate.
I don't mind my original concept of December 2013.
She needs to release it either December 9th or December 16th. It's really competitive 4th quarter.
October 22-Katy
October 29th...katy will remain #1
November 4th-katy will remain #1
November 11th-Gaga
November 18th???
November 25th-Mary J xmas album
December 2nd-I want Britney for her birthday but rumors are either for October 15th or November
December 9th-I wanted Miley but Nicki could do this since her birthday is the day before and could release it birthday week.
December 16th-almost no point by then but would give two weeks of sales.
I want a #1 album again. No way can she get that on November 11, 25, or December 2.
Also we have Eminem, allegedly Bieber, One direction (which I'm sure will either be November 18 or 25...most likely with the AMAs on the 24th), Rihanna and maybe Beyonce.
Someone said Wayne is coming out with one...I hope not.

No Willy said it best. Lead single needs to be crossover. And then drop a straight urban track 2 weeks before the album release for hype purposes.

The clothing line will have male attire, but it won't come until next year.

Good idea.

The audacity to compare Whip it to that mess X it out.
You're on point with the others.

Entirely hip hop first single in March that goes up with the pre-order.
Crossover in May.
Album in June.
|
I want a late May release during the Billboard awards week.
Single released in February during grammy's not performed but released and can get top 10 exposure during the boosts. Her appearance there should turn heads too for promo.
then a June world tour starting in the US.

So people really believe Frank ocean wasn't an early 2013/late 2012 trend.

Stupid hoe lyrically is clever.
Stupid hoe thematically is like a bully beating up a disabled kid. It's too far.
Videowise it's genius...her intentionally taken scenes from others to show the way its done in the new generation.
the genius of starting off the song doing double dutch scenes showing how childish the beef was and then the scene in the car showing she is the one driving her career.
The quick grace jones scene to subliminal show that kim took from Grace jones.
Then showing a caged animal to represent a woman that is only good for a sex symbol image but nothing more and nothing less cough cough Lil kim.
Then just showing overall how it's not about who's the best its about who's the smartest and has the biggest impact.
Nicki controls her career, her image and is more than a sex object. The concept is genius.See below:
