I completely agree. As far as their Korean material I literally only have their title tracks + few good album tracks like "Trick" in my library.
It's so weird how their Korean and Japanese material are like night and day.

Finally another comeback for my boys. I don't want another Miss right or any song that sounds the same as their older songs though again not here for that. This needs to be their breakthrough song.

Their Korean music is truly horrific. It is genuinely sad how their best Korean song is MR. TAXI (Korean Version).
Yes, Gee, Genie, Hoot and Run Devil Run were originally Korean but they never really did anything for me until they were on the first Japanese album and then they finally clicked because they all finally fitted a musical direction (Genie and Gee as singles and all of them as album tracks).
Their Jap discog is flawless and nearly impossible to drag.
Now since they're fading there, I think it's about time they put that much effort into their domestic material.

Well it is going to be used for a CF in Japan and that probably cost big $$$ for SM to hook up with the anti-Korean nonsense so they obviously are more eager to get the Shojo Jidai cash training moving again than they have been over the last year. The easily suggests that more thought will be put into the music of this release by SM's/UMJ's A&R departments.
