No, I said the stanning caused the nicknames going too far.
People can stan all they want for certain games/consoles/phones, I do so too, but the nicknames were getting ridiculous; no one used the actual name of the product anymore. Same reason for why we don't allow nicknames for artists.
When it gets to the point that the real names are hardly used anymore, it's gotten too far.

Hey MODs ok so I got a WP for using "nicknames" HERE but you guys are confused; I was referring to the https://twitter.com/lanadelc(U)nt -esque Twitter bullies and you guys assumed I was talking about the artist Lana Del Rey so can I have it reverted please It wouldn't make sense for me to use Lana Del Rey in that context anyway (what are Lana Del Rey-esque accounts like??) thus I believe this was given to me unfairly!
