I don't think anyone actually thinks Applause is going to be as big of a hit as WFL, but we also have to give it some time. A video, promo, etc.

Do you know WHY WCS started to smash? It was because of the video.

Now, knowing GaGa, the GP will NEVER discuss her video or a mass amount of people will NOT buy the song because of the video, because regardless of what she does, people have already seen it. WCS started to sell because it showed Hannah Montana, a childhood icon twerking and basically being a skank. THEN the song caught on even more.
