The excuses are so telling.

Whether or not you care is one thing, but it clearly shows the Gaga brand ain't as strong as it used to be. Gaga can't just release anything and expect it to dominate anymore.

It's funny because Monsters are getting their dosage of humble pie much lie the Hive and whatever Xtina fans are called.
I know Britney is an exception to the rule and since most people expect her to underperform she will remain an underdog like Pink and keep doing well.
Congrats Katy.

do you honestly believe gaga is the most powerful female artist still
her standings in the social media world have toppled to others
her single sales have been lack luster since btw
her album sales are now stagnant
she's a touring force but even that's up in the air now for this next era if she doesn't pull her act together

Stans will do anything to save face.
People get caught up in hype. The real test is what happens after the hype is down. That's the test of longevity.
I think she will rebound for sure but it is a lesson that you can't put out anything based on your name.

So one single that was released prematurely is an indicator of how much power she has? Okay.

The excuses.
The demand has been there. We've known about the album title for how many months. She's been talking about the album for a minute now.
Monsters are really showing themselves. Wow.

True. Much like xtina in 2010 and Beyonce in 2011...now it's Gaga's turn.

I have to say, though, I'm surprised at Katy's power!

This thread is history. This will be remembered in all the stan battles in generations to come. Britney vs. Xtina? Yeah, but this is bigger. This is the Monsters facing humiliation. A true Kodak moment.
Lemme look back at all my bookmarked post at "FIRST SINGLE SELLING MILLIONS"

I'm sure there are so many posts from monster gloating.

Counting all of their chickens before they hatch.

It's not sad that you think that...it's sad that you actually have the gall to post that as a defense.

Poor Gaga, she's losing even in those small countries.

Yeah US sales are pretty irrelevant considering that its a country of 313 million people, compared to European countries like Luxembourg with only half a million.
Keep trying, whatever helps you sleep at night

Go in and let monsters have it.
