I didn't say it was limited to pop girls, the overall idea pertains to celebrity. Your first post was about "pop music" / the pop scene not being boring without this or that person, not music in general, so I'm just saying the fact that there are pop musicians doing great, exciting things without any of the celebrity (like Gaga) isn't necessarily relevant to the pop scene as it relates to mainstream culture at large.
