The public really likes Katy.. It's already more than half a week and she's still at #1 and selling more than half of that of #2 without being snatched by a highly anticipated new single by a global artist (or so-called) and the biggest airplay hit that is selling 300k per week for a ridiculous amount of weeks.
This week is too much. The new single, the VMA promo, the complete slayage, the return of the radio queen, the John Mayer collaboration and the killer queen commercial

I'm so happy for her. What makes it better is going back and reading all the threads about how Roar would have no chance against Gaga and Applause. As fans its like the sweetest revenge especially after dealing with all the **** from delusional fans the last 3 years saying Katy is local and no competition. I hope its finally opened their eyes to never underestimate her again. Now the real treat will be seeing if she can get that #1 on the Hot 100 next week
